The Rosenberg site lies in the neighboring town of Biebelnheim. The vineyard has a steep slope to the south. Along with the Pinot noir on the Herrgottspfad in Gau-Odernheim, this is one of the best vineyards.

Near the surface, the soil contains a proportion of fine stones and consists largely of clay marl. In the lower layers traces of limestone deposits are to be found.
